 SUR is a space for cultural enthusiasts, curious explorers, homesick hearts, and creative souls. Rooted in the spirit of Latin America, SUR draws inspiration from the region’s authors, artists, and storytellers—those who have shaped our identity through words, color, and rhythm. Through its design, ambiance, and cuisine, SUR becomes the fusion of flavor and folklore, celebrating the richness and diversity of our cultures. SUR is a Latin American restaurant that that shows the rich history, culture, and storytelling traditions of the region.





This logo was designed to reflect the expressive and passionate side of Latin American culture. The thick
curves paired with thin joints and sharp terminals showcase the fluidity and boldness that define the our artistic identity. The contrast between weight and delicacy mirrors the rhythm of Latin American music, dance, and storytelling, creating a typeface that feels both energetic and proud.

After the logo, I went on to create the rest of the alphabet, creating a custom made typeface that reflect the same expressive and passionate side of Latin American.
